What’s LocalAg?

You are able to Buy and Sell many different agricultural products, working directly with each other to make the deal and organise delivery.

Feed Central’s LocalAg connects buyers and sellers across the country, taking a small percentage fee on the price of the product once it has been sold. On this platform, buyers and sellers can chat to each other and the chat will be reviewed by “Kev” our LocalAg AI team member, whose job it is to help you with the deal and to make sure that your contract is sound. Kev is there to make sure everyone gets a fair go.

When the deal is done you will be able to print the contract, which is generated from your conversations within the chat.  You will have several opportunities to confirm or change details before finalising the arrangements.

Setting up your preferred payment method in advance means that when you close a deal or agree to a contract you are protected and can deliver or receive products with confidence and without delay.

So, who’s Kev?

Our platform features a unique chat function who we have named Kev.

He enables buyers and sellers to speak directly to each other to make the deal happen.

Kev is designed to help you to make a purchase or sale with minimal assistance and maximum security.  He is there to answer any questions you have about Feed Central’s LocalAg and how to use it.

Ask him anything, anytime. He will guide the deal to ensure that correct trade terms are established. These will be documented in the chat and may be called up later.  If Kev can’t answer your question, don’t worry, he has the Feed Central team to follow up and find the answers for you.

So, who’s Kev?

Kev was a farmer and an Aussie battler who has endured it all!

As the third generation on the land, Kev’s resilience has seen him through droughts, floods, and much more.

He is experienced and knowledgeable, an everyman who is always there to chat, offer advice, or lend a helping hand. Kev is the person you call when your Ute gets bogged, the one who lends extra hands during harvest, and the one you love to sit with on the verandah after a hard day, enjoying a beer. He’s your mate!
